My father, and best friend, creator of some of the best midi music ever heard, passed away August 14th, 2005, quietly and peaceful like in his sleep.

One of the finest creators of original midi music, my dad was very fond of the Rocky Mountains. One of his compositions, Rocky Mountain Moonlight was composed after spending time in Colorado up on the Poudre River outside Fort Collins.

Dad was cremated, and his two brothers and I are planning a trip to the Colorado high country when the flowers bloom in the spring where I own some land. Dad will be left there under a newly planted evergreen so he can gaze to the west at the snow covered Collegiate Peaks, and look over east towards Wilkerson Pass in anticipation of my arrival when I visit.

The music featured on this site are original songs created by Mel Webb, his older brother, Bud Webb, and Mel's son, Jim Webb. Our music is free, as my father believed that this was his way to share his life with the world.

Each of us has a page as indicated in the menu at the top of the page, that is where all of the music is located. Dad's favorite section was his "Story Pages" where he composed music to several poems he wrote. The War Story is also included, this is his experience in the service towards the end of WWII.

My father, together with my uncle, Bud Webb, who is my strength and patriarch of my family wish to thank all the fans of KmelMIDIMusic.com for their loyalty and many visits. This is as much a tribute also, to my uncle Bud Webb, who gave so much of himself during dad’s retirement years in Las Vegas. He is my friend, patriarch, and I love him as much as I did my father.
